Large private estate on a wooded hill, required extensive site planning. First, a grand entrance was created with limestone walls and a security gate. Next a winding entry road with large retaining walls and perennial borders. Then we arrive to the entry court, brick inlay in a circle drive with limestone retaining walls. Great care was taken to preserve major trees surrounding the house and entrance with bark mulch was used as padding during construction then extensive retaining walls. In the rear we have decking exclusively, again for minimum forest impact. Architectural wood features on the deck, bring the house and deck together, stone paths lined with woodland perennials and groundcover take you through the backyard.
