We were brought in late as a flat house was built on a severely sloped site. Major retaining walls and plantings were necessary as this residence appeared propped up on the hill. The owner wanted screening and cover yet we needed to achieve a sense of entrance of which many new homes miss in site development. A driveway and parking area with a smooth curve to the door anchored with a large clump tree creates this desired effect.
