Miller Brewing created a new VIP stage viewing area at the Summerfest World Festival Grounds. They needed a feature for their beer garden “Oasis”. I proposed a giant steel and copper palm tree.The trunk is an ascending extension of narrowing tube slices tipping their way upward, heavy yet open. The leaves are sheet copper and the finish has aged naturally.
